(1)詞匯教學(xué)(let’s learn)
let’s learn部分的詞匯是圍繞話題歸類出現(xiàn)的。與前四冊不同的是,從五年級上冊開始,let’s learn中的部分或全部詞匯要求學(xué)生做到聽說讀寫四
掌握。還可以在與學(xué)生的交流中自然引入新單詞,讓學(xué)生在理解詞義的基礎(chǔ)上朗讀、拼讀新詞。 在交際中教學(xué)單詞。教師應(yīng)力求在語言交流中教單詞,用舊詞聯(lián)系新的語言,融會語言和詞匯的教學(xué)。不要為了教單詞而教單詞,也不要讓學(xué)生死記,要把它放到具體的對話(句子)中學(xué)習(xí)。
(2).對話教學(xué)(let’s talk pair work group work)本冊教材濃縮了原有的情景會話,更突出了目標(biāo)句型。為給學(xué)生提供靈活運(yùn)用語言的機(jī)會,這部分還提供可替換的內(nèi)容。為此,教師應(yīng)做相應(yīng)的調(diào)整。

本學(xué)期自開學(xué)以來,我在課堂內(nèi)外都盡量用簡單的英語來組織教學(xué)和與學(xué)生交流。無論是上課時師生相互打招呼問候、道別,或者教師發(fā)指令讓學(xué)生做動作等,我都盡量采用英語來進(jìn)行。即使是課后我也盡量讓學(xué)生用英語簡單交流,如進(jìn)入教室或辦公室時,如果我在就一定要用英語:may i come in?
到目前為止,已有多數(shù)學(xué)生已經(jīng)接受簡單語句的說法,并逐步學(xué)會了其說法。這樣做有助于創(chuàng)造英語氣氛,學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性會更高,可以幫助學(xué)生通過英語直接理解教學(xué)內(nèi)容的意思,養(yǎng)成用英語思維的習(xí)慣。當(dāng)然必要時也可適當(dāng)?shù)睦媚刚Z。例如用英語難以理解的,較抽象的詞句就可以用英語解釋,以節(jié)省教學(xué)時間。對于特殊的英語表達(dá)方式,也可作英語與母語對比,以加深理解,便于記憶。例如good morning/afternoon/evening等的漢譯是“早上/下午/晚上好!”但是英語里必需是good 在前的順序。 二、關(guān)注教學(xué)過程
?英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)解讀》指出:“小學(xué)階段英語教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)要放在聽、說、讀、寫的訓(xùn)練上,要放在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生養(yǎng)成良好的讀音,正確地聽、說、讀、寫習(xí)慣和運(yùn)用英語的習(xí)慣上,要放在養(yǎng)成良好的接受英語和學(xué)習(xí)的習(xí)慣上,要放在養(yǎng)成良好接受英語和學(xué)習(xí)英語的方法上,”針對課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提出的要求,我在教授單詞時,采用了一下的一些辦法:
1.讓學(xué)生仔細(xì)聽單詞的讀音。放錄音給他們聽,使學(xué)生從聽覺上正確地感受某個單詞的讀音。
2.讓學(xué)生看所學(xué)單詞所代表的事物之形狀。因?yàn)樾W(xué)英語中,大部分單詞是表示具體的事物,抽象的甚少。這樣就可以通過實(shí)物、卡片或了了幾筆的 簡筆畫,把要學(xué)的單詞展示在學(xué)生面前,使學(xué)生有一種直觀感受。如學(xué)習(xí)用品、交通工具、動物等單詞,可以用實(shí)物或玩具進(jìn)行直觀教學(xué)。象sun,moon,star等單詞,我就用簡筆畫幫助教學(xué),既生動,又形象。
3.讓學(xué)生拼讀單詞。我把所學(xué)單詞書寫在黑板上或卡片上,讓學(xué)生拼讀, 掌握單詞是由哪些字母組合而 成的。
4.讓學(xué)生想其讀音和構(gòu)成。通過以上三個步驟的訓(xùn)練,所學(xué)單詞的讀音和構(gòu)成已基本上在學(xué)生大腦中形成。這時要求學(xué)生想一想所學(xué)單詞讀音和字母組合,主要是加深印象,讓學(xué)生記牢。
5.讓學(xué)生說出和寫出單詞, 目的是檢驗(yàn)學(xué)生的掌握情況。我可拿出實(shí)物或卡片,要求學(xué)生正確拼讀出來,并能在三線本上寫出 來。如教師拿出蘋果,學(xué)生觀其形,就拼寫出a-p-p-l-e。
當(dāng)然,我在真正的教學(xué)過程中不會單獨(dú)教授單詞,我會把單詞貫穿到句子中。并把句子放在一定的語境中來進(jìn)行教學(xué)。這樣可做到詞不離句,句不離篇。對于小學(xué)生來說,他們的注意力很難長時間的集中。而且單調(diào)的教學(xué)也容易讓學(xué)生產(chǎn)生疲勞感,會使學(xué)生感到厭煩,課堂教學(xué)氣氛沉悶,不利于提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性。這就需要借助于游戲,把游戲貫穿于教學(xué)中,寓教于樂。學(xué)習(xí)英語一個重要的目的是運(yùn)用英語進(jìn)行交際,兩人之間的交際是活動的重要形式,因此,語言訓(xùn)練中應(yīng)經(jīng)常開展兩人活動。兩人之間的對話活動是最常見的兩人活動??梢砸髮W(xué)生就某一話題、某一張圖片、某一個人等進(jìn)行一問一答形式的對話,也可要求學(xué)生開展一個發(fā)指令,另一個做的活動,還可以開展兩人之間的討論、辯論、商量等活動。在五年級,我可以開展筆頭訓(xùn)練的兩人一組的活動,如以有趣的兩人游戲形式開展聽寫、相互改錯、連詞成句、句型轉(zhuǎn)換等。兩人活動很容易在課桌上開展,不需要學(xué)生離開課堂,有時為了活躍課堂氣氛,或者提供更多與不同人進(jìn)行訓(xùn)練的機(jī)會,可以讓前排的學(xué)生轉(zhuǎn)身和后排的學(xué)生進(jìn)行兩人活動。 三、重視評價,有效運(yùn)用評價
評價可以使學(xué)生認(rèn)識自我,樹立自信,有助于反思及調(diào)整自己的學(xué)習(xí)過程,評價或采用測驗(yàn)及非測驗(yàn)形式,平時重視形成性評價,對學(xué)生回答學(xué)習(xí)過程中的表現(xiàn)所改進(jìn)的誠績,及反映的情感、態(tài)度、策略某方面進(jìn)行及時的評價,如有口頭評價、等級評價、學(xué)生之間互相評價等方法,充分發(fā)覺學(xué)生的進(jìn)步,鼓勵學(xué)生自我反思,自我提高,測驗(yàn)以學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用能力為目標(biāo),側(cè)重于學(xué)生理解和獲取信息,能力減少客觀題,增加主觀題,通過評價學(xué)生學(xué)會分析自己的成績和不足,明確努力方向。
當(dāng)學(xué)生回答問題時,我常常進(jìn)行正面的評價,這是幫助初學(xué)者掌握英語學(xué)習(xí)的良好方法。我在課堂上大膽使用鼓勵,可以鼓勵全班,也可鼓勵某一小組或某一學(xué)生。學(xué)生在開展個人活動、小組活動時,可以到學(xué)生中間去,鼓勵和幫助某一個學(xué)生、某兩個學(xué)生、或某一組學(xué)生,這種做法是比較好的。 對學(xué)生的書面作業(yè),我也經(jīng)常給予正面的評價,不僅可以寫上“good ! very good!”等,還可以貼上一張表示鼓勵的小粘貼畫。對于學(xué)生書面作業(yè)中的錯誤給予糾正,讓學(xué)生感到我在意他們的書面作業(yè)。
